what of the plane is a transformation which shifts all the points in a plane figures without altering the shape of the figure

This is a easy question, but the words make no sense..... i am pretty sure that either they turned the plane upside down...or they switched parts until it has not been changed at all, i hope i'm answering this correctly and that this will help.
